14 Days Of Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is one of my most favorite holidays! Growing up my mom always did fun little things that made each holiday fun and special and it is something I have alway wanted to do with my kids. Since having kids, I have always done the 14 days of Valentine's Day to shower them with extra love this time of year and it's been a hit! It is something that all of us, including my husband, look forward to each day. If you've never hear of it, fourteen days of Valentine’s Day is a fun way to give gifts to your valentine starting from February 1st and ending on Valentine’s Day, February 14th!

Here's how it works:

Your loved ones receive a small gift every day through Valentine’s Day (1st-14th), all of which include a cute little saying that coincides with the gift. You can make these gifts as expensive or inexpensive as you’d like. I ended up getting a mixture of food and small gift items for my kids, but my husband gets all food items and he loves it!
Each of these small gifts has a small tag (create in Canva or or make them handwritten) with a phrase on it that coincides with the gift for that day (ideas and phrases listed below).
Leave each gift out on the counter, hide it and make them find it, or create a scavenger hunt! This really is as easy as you want to make it.

The treats are my favorite ones to give! We make some together, I get some from the grocery store, and some I get locally! Local businesses like One Smart Cookie, Oh My Cupcakes!, and The Candy Cloud Factory are all perfect places to get your Valentine's Day treats!

There is no better way to say "I love you" than with coffee (in my house my kids call hot chocolate coffee, so when we go get "coffee" it's a win-win for both of us). Most of these things can be picked up from the dollar store or ordered on Amazon; however, I love going to Kidtopia and seeing what new toys I can find. They always have something out of the box that I've never seen before or put a fun twist on ordinary toys!
