1. DOGust 1st!

Celebrate the rescue of your best friend at Spencer Dog Park for the universal birthday for shelter and rescue dogs. Socialize with other dog owners and their pups and even check out our dog photo opportunity! Sioux Falls Humane Society will be present with fun giveaways and promotional information. This event will also help us kick off our August Yappy Hours with an agility course! Spencer Dog Park, Tuesday August 1st, 6-7 PM

2. Free Wading Pool

Have you gone to a wading pool this summer yet with your little one? It’d free and has extended hours! McKennan Park 1–4:50 p.m. and 6–7:50 p.m.

3. Pie and Ice Cream Social

Free indoor event in observance of National Night Out. Includes pie, ice cream, lemonade, coffee, bouncy house, and live music. Sounds pretty good to me! St. Mark’s Church, Tuesday, August 1st 5:30-7:30 PM

4. Free First Friday

Free Entrance into the  Science Center and Art Galleries plus lots of other fun downtown. Washington  Pavilion, Friday, August 4th July 27th, 5-8 PM

5. Super Summer Saturday Archery

An Outdoor Camps Event you can just show up to! Come out to the GFP Outdoor Campus Sioux Falls for this no-registration-required course and learn the basics of archery! All equipment will be provided. All youth should be accompanied by an adult for classes. Outdoor Campus, Saturday, August 5th, 10AM & 1PM
