For our mini Mama Adventure this week, Little Man and I met up with some old friends and their babies at the Tea Play Place. Our children ranged in age from 6 months to 2 years and we all enjoyed ourselves. I went in expecting there to not be a lot for the little ones to do other than wiggle around but there was so much for every age! We also appreciated the separate area for the babies. Little Man’s favorite toys were some of the Montessori style ones that they had available.
Being a mom in the trenches of motherhood, there was something so amazing about coming to a place to meetup with other moms (or even meet new ones!) and relax catching up while our children were busy having fun with new things in a place they can’t get into anything they’re not supposed to. You can view straight through the entire play place so it’s easy supervision no matter where you’re at. You’ll find many little nooks of engaging toys and stations for them to explore and all the toys you wanted to try out but haven’t bought. There’s coffee and wi-fi available and the owner Beth often does special events we keep updated on our calendar here too.
We ended up staying until they closed for the morning because we were having so much fun. Little Man was so tired and content he took a very good two hour nap afterword! If you’re looking for a great place to meetup with other mamas or even need a break from your own home and mess-cleaning-up try it out!
